Overview

Jazzmandu is Kathmandu's annual jazz festival, run by Upstairs Ideas and held over about a week in late October or early November. The 2026 edition runs 29 October to 4 November, with a different programme most days: a next-generation showcase and a jam session at Upstairs, Valley Jams, the open-air Jazz Bazaar, a Latin jazz night, Jazz at Patan with free workshops, and the closing Finale. The festival's own schedule gives dates, not venues or start times, so check jazzmandu.org for where each concert is and how to get tickets before you go.
