Walk Nepal Walk Group Day Hike
Join a small, guided group hike on the forest trails around the Kathmandu Valley rim.
Walk Nepal Walk runs numbered group day hikes on the hills ringing the Kathmandu Valley, and has been counting them for a while: its 3 October 2026 outing was hike number 309. Each one is a different route, so length, climb and grade change from week to week. Godawari to Chapakharka, for example, is about 13 km, climbs from 1,543 m to 2,300 m and takes most of a day. Groups are capped (25 on that hike) and led by the club's own leaders. It suits a visitor who wants a proper day on the trails without arranging a private guide, and who would like to walk with people who live here.
